FAQs

  • We are currently looking for semi truck owner operators who have a valid CDL-A.

  • We are always in need of company drivers as well. Please contact us if you have more than 2 years of experience and a decent driving record.

  • We do have opportunities for box trucks; however, at the moment we are not looking to add box truck drivers to the team.

    • CDL Class A - we would need to provide driver's license information to our insurance for approval. 2 years CDL-A experience is a minimum requirement for approval.

    • Completed drug test. We cannot complete onboarding prior to receiving a negative result.

    • Clearinghouse account - we would need consent.

    • Current DOT medical card

  • Absolutely not! You will get 88% of gross revenue from each load. The only deductions would be the weekly $300 Insurance/IFTA/ELD charge plus any fuel charges incurred during the fuel card statement period.

  • This is the complete guide for owner operator starting requirements:

    DRIVER:

    • Has to send us their drivers license in order for our insurance to approve them. 2 years CDL-A experience is a minimum.

    • Has to complete a drug test. We cannot dispatch your truck until we receive the negative result.

    • Has to log in into their Clearinghouse account and accept out query request.

    • Has to have a current DOT medical card

    • Has to fill out all paperwork (Application, Handbook, etc.) and send it back to us before being

      dispatched. Email is fine. TRUCK OWNER:

    • We need the Meta Transport Alliance contract signed before dispatching.

    • We need bank account and routing numbers at least 5 days before the first settlement date for direct deposit.

    PAPERWORK WE NEED:

    • Driver’s drivers license

    • Driver’s DOT medical card

    • Our paperwork we sent to you completely filled out

    • Truck and trailer registration

    • Truck and trailer bobtail insurance

    • Truck and trailer DOT inspections

      All this can be emailed or sent by regular mail

    PAPERWORK DUE TO YOU:

    • Authority letter

    • IFTA (We will mail you the stickers)

    • Liability/Cargo insurance (You will get this as soon as we book your first load)

    • KY permit

    • NY 30 day permit (You will get the sticker in mail)

    • Fuel cards (Mailed to you)

    • Our truck signs (Mailed to you)

    • ELD device and cable (Mailed to you)

      Please keep in mind that, even though, we cover the costs for the postage, ELD devices, truck signs, drug tests, etc ($400) plus the new annual subscription for the ELDs ($480), we want to make sure that all of the steps above are followed correctly to avoid on losses or downtime on both sides.
